Biographical / Historical Note
The Vegas Valley Club Chapter of International Training in Communication is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is part of the International Training in Communication (ITC), a non-profit organization of public-speaking clubs. Founded in California in the late 1930s as International Toastmistress Clubs, ITC was intended as a parallel organization to Toastmasters International, which did not admit women until 1973. In 1985, members voted to change the name of the organization to International Training in Communication. Membership in ITC is open to all interested adults.
