Abstract
The Las Vegas Porcelain Artists Records span from 1975 to 1993 and document the history of the Las Vegas, Nevada, non-profit organization that was a division of the World Organization of China Painters (WOCP). The collection includes club by-laws, membership lists, convention pamphlets, promotional materials, correspondence, membership applications, meeting minutes, and financial information. It also includes photo albums, slides, negatives, a cookbook, and other documents.

Series I. Geraldine Reynolds collection on the Las Vegas Porcelain Artists records, 1975-1988;
Series II. Frances Zgonc collection on the Las Vegas Porcelain Artists records, 1975-1993.
Biographical / Historical Note
The Las Vegas Porcelain Artists is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a division of the Nevada World Organization of China Painters (NWOCP), which is part of the international organization, the World Organization of China Painters (WOCP). The Las Vegas Porcelain Artists were founded under the name the Las Vegas China Painters but changed their name in the early 1980s to Porcelain Artists. The organization was comprised of porcelain art hobbyists and professional porcelain art teachers from the Las Vegas area. The group organized many porcelain art conventions in Southern Nevada that displayed the art of both local organizations and international porcelain artists.

Acquisition Note
Materials were donated in two accesions. The first accession was donated in 1990 by Geraldine Reynolds; accession number 1990-042. The second accession was donated in 1995 by Frances Zgonc; accession number 1995-043.
Processing Note
In 2014, as part of the legacy finding aid conversion project, Hana Gutierrez completed the collection description. Subsequently Hana Gutierrez entered the data into ArchivesSpace. In 2018, as part of an archival backlog elimination project, the collection was processed and a finding aid was created by Faye Mazzia.
