Abstract
The Las Vegas City Engineering and Planning Department Reports (1951-1981) consist of urban planning reports, transportation and parking studies, and environmental impact assessments concerning the greater Las Vegas, Nevada metropolitan area. In addition to general issues of urban planning, the collection contains materials relating to the expansion of Interstate 15 through West Las Vegas in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Material was processed by Special Collections staff in 1986. In 2014, as part of a legacy finding aid conversion project, Ian M. Baldwin revised and enhanced the collection description to bring it into compliance with current professional standards. Subsequently, Ian M. Baldwin entered the data into ArchivesSpace. In 2016, Joyce Moore edited and updated the data and entered it into ArchivesSpace. In 2021, Sarah Jones reboxed the collection and updated the inventory in ArchivesSpace.
