Jewish Community Center

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada is a nonprofit organization that offers programs and activities that focus on Jewish culture, identity and values. It is located in Las Vegas, Nevada and is a partner of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas.

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada is distinct from the Las Vegas Jewish Community Center, which housed the congregation now known as Temple Beth Sholom. The Las Vegas Jewish Community Center was built in 1946 at 1229 Carson Street and was in use by the Beth Sholom congregation until 1958.

Because we are no longer actively fundraising for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project, we are directing all related donations to our Oral History Research Center for the pursuit of other meaningful oral history projects.
