The collection is comprised of long time Nevada resident Eunice Claxton's papers from 1982 to 2011. Included are photographs, memorial service programs, her maternal family history, and the 41st and 50th church convocations held in the Church of God in Christ, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Long time Nevada resident Eunice Claxton moved to Las Vegas in 1952 from Tallulah, Louisiana. She spent some time in Reno, Nevada and returned to Las Vegas in 1974 where she worked as a change girl at the Desert Inn and Sahara Hotel Casinos and a cocktail waitress at the Dunes Hotel Casino. Claxton is active in her church and the small senior citizen community where she lives.
