I transmit herewith letter dated Jan. 18th, 1949, from Robert E. Jones, District Attorney, concerning the proposed acquisition of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company by the Las Vegas Valley Water District. I have acknowledged Mr. Jones's letter advising that I was forwarding the same to you and suggested that all future correspondence be had di-rectly with you.
