Abstract
The Denny Lynch Photograph Collection (approximately 1900-1990) contains photographic prints and negatives of the Lynch family and their homes in Pahrump Valley and near Blue Diamond, Nevada. The photographs also depict locations and people throughout Nevada, primarily in Pahrump and Amargosa with a focus between approximately 1970 and 1990. Other photographs include local, state, and federal politicians in Nevada and Washington, D.C. Most of these photographs were collected by Denny Lynch for his newspaper, the Pahrump Tribune.

The Denny Lynch Photograph Collection (approximately 1900-1990) contains photographic prints and negatives of the Lynch family and their homes in Pahrump Valley and near Blue Diamond, Nevada. The photographs also depict locations and people in Nevada, primarily in Pahrump and Amargosa with a focus between approximately 1970 and 1990. These photographs primarily depict streets, homes, and residents in Pahrump and Amargosa from the early to mid-1900s, as well as other locations throughout Nevada including Hawthorne, Tonopah, Havilah, and Carson Valley. Other photographs include local, state, and federal-level politicians in Nevada and Washington, D.C. Most of these photographs were collected by Denny Lynch for his newspaper publication, the Pahrump Tribune.

Biographical / Historical Note
Charles Denny Lynch Sr. was a newspaper editor in Pahrump, Nevada. He was born on September 18, 1903 in Hillsboro, West Virginia and moved to Pahrump in 1976. Dissatisfied with newspaper publications at the time, Lynch started the Pahrump Tribune which ran between 1979 and 1983. In 1979, he also wrote the book A History of Pahrump Valley. Lynch married his wife, Nora Agnes Waggoner in 1928. In November 1995, Lynch was hospitalized at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada where he later died on November 8, 1995.
