Biographical / Historical Note

The Nevada Resort Association (NRA) advocates for Nevada's gaming and resort industry. Established in 1965, the NRA represents the state's largest industry and provides information, perspective, and industry insight for decision makers throughout the state. The NRA monitors government and regulatory activities in Nevada. It adopts and advocates policies regarding state gaming issues.

Acquisition Note

Materials were donated by Virginia Valentine on behalf of the Nevada Resort Association in 2016; accession number 2016-044.

Processing Note

The collection was minimally processed by Tammi Kim in 2016 at the time of accessioning. The materials were quickly reviewed to provide a general description of the contents of each box and an estimate of dates represented in the material. Loose papers were foldered. Born-digital content was transferred off of original media and converted, WMV files were converted to MP4, PDF and DOC files were converted to PDF/A. No further work was performed on the materials.
