In the matter of the City of Lob Angeles d r illin g water w ell for supplying East San Pedro with #ater* As stated in my former le tte r any action for boring this w ell could not affect the proper ty righ ts, hut I do b e lie v e -th a t inasmuch as the w ell w ill be used fo r supplying the inhabitants of East San Pedro with water, should we win the a c tio n and the property declared to be ours, wo would be embarrassed in ousting the c ity from the use of the w e ll. As a measure of protection and so wo cannot be charged with laches, I would suggest sending a le tte r according to the enclosed form addressed to the Commission or body which took up the matter with our Company.
