Mr. Al Freeman -2- March 27, 1972 This show will be transmitted in color through the most important and prestigious TV Channel in Mexico, Channel Two, which is its national network. The sponsors would be FABRICAS AUTOMEX, S. A., a car assembly plant in Mexico. We would like to know how much each of the following artists would ask in order to perform on this program so that we can arrive at an agreement in accordance with our budget. The artists that we have in mind (not all of them could be contracted) would be: Sammy Davis, Jr., The Supremes, Debbie Reynolds, Sonny King, Edi Domingo, a baI lad group of eight or 10 girls, a juggler or acrobat, a magician, as well as any other number you can think of (not too expensive) to give variety and a sampling of the kind of entertainment that Las Vegas offers. We would like you to please include all expenses, unions, permits, taxes, etc.--in this breakdown, considering that we would directly hire and pay the necessary video tape facilities to record this program. It is our understanding that depending on the date that the main figure or figures will be performing at the Flughes Corporation Flotels, the other participating artists or groups would be selected and signed to bind up the whole program, so as to record in one trip only, all the necessary footage. (Remember that we will have to bring down the equipment from Los Angeles.) We will be glad to send you a copy of a video tape, edited in such a way that each artist will have his part of the show as a souvenir of his performance on Mexican television, promoting the Flughes Corporation and Las Vegas. Regarding payment conditions, we will leave this subject up to you; since we are convinced that we are dealing with gentlemen and your conditions will certainly be fair. We wish to thank you, Al, for your offer of cooperating with us, in the production of this show, which will no doubt be a splendid promoj^ToTKvfor thV Flughes Corporation hotels in Mexico.
