Raye1 SUBJECT: "THE VICTOR AWARDS" OPENING FILM This will confirm arrangements which we have made in the last week or so regarding the aerial film footage to be shot of the Strip and the marquee of the Sands Hotel on the evening of June 18, 1970. John Koushouris and I will be in Las Vegas on Wednesday, June 17th and throughout the day of the 18th to make final arrangements to dress'the marquee and set a time for the aerial photography. The actual fly-pass and marquee shooting will take place at about dusk on the 18th. In order to properly shoot the segment, we would like to land the helicopter in the parking lot near the marquee. Could Mr. Freeman let us know if there will be a problem in clearing the parking area? We would appreciate it if Mr. Allen would arrange to develop the film and have rushes available as quickly after the filming as possible.
