Arrange for and supervise the operation of medical aid facilities, services and equipment at all World Congress events. OPERATION: Medical aid facilities are to be arranged for by the MEDICAL AID COMMITTEE at the following locations: Convention Center Building McCarran Field Medical emergencies in,the Stadium area can be handled in the First Aid Room in the Convention Center, with the exception of the afternoons of Tuesday, April 14, And Saturday, April 18, when Air and ground demonstrations are being held in the Stadium aiea, during which emer- gency facilities can be set up in the grandstand building. Medical aid service is to be available daily from 8:00 a.rcn to 6:00 p.m. daily, beginning April 12 through April 19, including until 9:30 p.m. Monday, April 13, when the Reception is being held in the Exhibit Hall and Stadium area, and 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, during the NATO Banquet. The MEDICAL AID COMMITTEE should arrange to have at least one ambulance on duty in the Convention Center area and at McCarran Field throughout the World Congress. These ambulances can probably be obtained on a complimentary basis from the various medical centers in the Las Vegas area. A First Aid Room has been constructed in the Convention Center. The MEDICAL AID COMMITTEE should determine if this is adequate to meet the needs during the World Congress. The Chairman of the MEDICAL AID COMMITTEE should use the First Aid Room in the Convention Center for his point of contact with his committeemen.
