HEALTH BOARD At this time Commissioner Peccole gave a report on a recent meeting of the Clark County-Las Vegas Health Board meeting held August 20, 1951. Commiss- Peccole stated that the representatives of the County, North Las Vegas and the City had agreed to require that permits be secured from the Health Department prior to securing a Building or Plumbing permit. They felt this would alleviate health hazards, Thereafter Commissioner Peccole moved the action of the Clark County Joint Health Board be approved in regard to securing Health Permits prior to the City issuing Building of Plumbing Permits, and that these departments be so notified. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker SALARY INCREASES At this time City Manager C. W. Shelley presented recommendations for raises in salary from the second steps of their pay classification to the third step. They were: 2nd Step 3rd Step Henry Popps-Engineering Aide $231.00 $244.00 Archie McGee-Custodian $206.00 $218.00 Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved the recommendation that Archie McGee be raised from $206.00 to $218.00 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Peccole moved this meeting adjourn.
