President sVeufificyie* July 8, 1957 Dear Al: Inclosed are a couple of the clippings I told you about and a couple of tear sheets of the cover picture on our magazine section of yesterday (July ?)?╟≤ When I talked to Carole on the telephone, X told her l would try to arrange for other pictures in the paper, but they had run the one I gave you when we were out there and said they would try to make the color picture for the magazine cover. I didn't mention it because I wasn't sure they would get it done. On the back side of the page, there is identification of the cover picture. Sure looks luscious, doesn't it? Peterson want to try to get reservations for one week beginning July 28 and Mr. Ed Derden will meet them there on the same date for one week. Bd operates the Che Paree Lounge here and is a nice fellow, the couple are friends of his. Ed will want a single, the couple a double. Also, Restaurant operator Sonny Look and wife and Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Bone - all of Houston - want to get reservations for August 26 through September 1. This is the same foursome that I wrote you about last year and for whom you made reservations. They would like to get their rooms close together, but if you can't, then it will be okay anywhere at The Sands. appreciate it much. Al, If handling the reservations through you is a bother, please let me know and send me the name of whoever I should write for such requests in the future. My main interest, when folks ask me at Las Vegas is to send them to the Sands, as you know. Al, I will send along some of the items I run flrom time to time in the event you don't get tear sheets already. Lorene and I are still talking about our wonderful vacation trip and the many courtesies you extended us during our visit. It was tremendou and we shall be ever grateful to you for such a fine time.
