G MARCH 25 - 29, 1957 February 15, 1957 Mr. A1 Freeman Freeman Company 449 South Severely Dr. Beverely Bills, Calif. Dear Mr. Freemans We find ourselves in the position of being able to accept your offer of a three day vacation at the Sands for Miss Rational Press Photographer of 1967. In your original letter to Joe Costa, you indicated you would like to have her right after her selection. We have television commit- ments in Wow York for three days after the contest, plus a one day stop-over in Pittsburgh, Penna. This would schedule her as departing for las Yogas about April 2nd. If you feel that these advance commitments would detract from her appearance at the Sands, do not hesitate to advise me in your reply. As we are holding our Miss HPPA contest in Washington ,D.C., we have a good many girls from Eastern States. It Just may turn out that even though ** offer this trip to the winner, her work or education might prevent her t*ki*>?· the time to use this prise. In any event your offer would be given the full publicity treatment at the convention, and hope that the gal would be able make the trip. She would be accompanied ty & chaperone, and someone from the NPPA should be on tend. I myself will not be able to make the trip, as I will have used up all my time. I think that perhaps Kelson Tiffany eould fly up for a couple of days to bo on hand for any help that she might need* I will discuss this with him Wo all appreciate your generous offer , and hope that we will be able to get together with Miss HPPA of 1967. Sincerely yours. Paul Slantis, Chairman Miss NPPA Pageant e/o Post Gasette Pittsburgh 50, Pa.
