Lag Vegas, Nev May 24, 1941. *5jt i Mr. Charles Adams: H. E. D. MAY 28 1941 I have your letter of May 22, 1941, relative to Park-Dutton easement for water pipe line through Vega Yerde Addition, Las Yegas, and in confirmation of the last paragraph thereof, will state: That Las Yegas Land and later Company has a permit from the City of Las Yegas, dated February 21, 19SO (Audit Ho* 7641), to install, lay down and maintain water pipe lines, water mains and all necessary and proper appliances used in connection therewith or appurtenant thereto, in, through, over, across, under, or along, all or any of the streets, alleys, avenues and highways of the City of Las Vegas......and all additions, tracts and subdivisions which may hereafter be added to said City of Las Yegas or hereafter laid out or subdivided, for the purpose of supplying the inhabitants of the City of Las Yegas with water. Paragraph 7 of the conditions of said permit required the filing of a plat within six months from the date thereof showing the location and position of all water mains then installed and states: "Should permittee thereafter desire to extend its water mains, pipe lines and laterals in said City, it shall file in the office of the City Clerk a plat showing the location and position of any water mains, water pipe lines and laterals proposed to be installed and laid down other than those delineated on the plat heretofore filed." We should comply with said provision, not only for the Yega Yerde Addition, but for any other extensions that have been made and which do not appear upon the original plat that was filed. I note the discrepancy in the description contained in the easements granted to Las Yegas Land and Water Company by the owners of the subdivision. I will prepare a new easement and endeavor to have the owners execute it. LAM/DB LEO a . Me NAME J “ Mr. Trank Strong^"' R, Bracken
