FREEMAN CQMPM/\ft ** was bedded in the hospital with a dust allergy and confined to an oxygen tent* Sister Mary Felicia* the head of the hospital* brought In some toasted bread they make right there* because I hadn't been able to keep anything in my stomach due to the oxygen, I found the bread was the only thing 1 could keep down and was ao grateful* I told her half-jokingly, "This must be the angels' bread", A few minutes later I found out that the bread actually was baked by a Sister Angelita* based on a 200-year-old German recipe for home-baked breadl Since then w# have developed an "Angelbread Foundation"* consisting of seven community leaders in levada* headed by Senator Bible and if! Cahlan* publisher of the RSVIEM-JOURSAL, and Including Frank Sinatra* Danny Thomas and Lawrence MeIk, The idea of the Foundation is to handle the business affairs involved in putting "Angelbread" on the market in Las Vegas and in principal cities throughout the country, con- tributing part of the profits for the use of Rose de Lima and eventually* if the proceeds are large enough* for the construction of a badly-nesdsd hospital in Clark County to be manned by the same Sisters who now run the rambling structure that does such a magnificent job with so little. Monies derived from the sale of this bread will be paid by the bakeries into the "Angelbread Foundation" and will be endorsed over to the Rose de Lima Hospital* with no administration or promotional axpenaes whatsoever deducted. This has been set up so the Foundation and hospital will enjoy the privilege of a tax-exempt institution in order to provide more money for taking care of the sick and needy. Me have had the Sisters supervise the baking of "Angelbread* in Snowflake's bakery and Mr, Dubln has perfected "Angelbread" to the point where the Sisters are satisfied that it is actually their bread which the public will be eating when they buy "Angelbread", Me have tested "Angelbread?½ for nine months* constantly testing new people to see if "Angelbread* was really as delicious and good as we first thought ?╟÷ out of 916 actual tests* we have had more than 900 people claim this la the first time they felt a store-bought bread tasted like home-baked breadl 9508 Wl LSHIRE BLVD. ?╟≤ BEVERLY HILLS, CAL. .
