I agree.Michael North Agency Artists Manager 188 NORTH CANON DRIVE BEVERLY HILLS. CALIFORNIA CRestview 4-0766 August 17, 1963 Mr, A1 Freeman C/o THE SANDS HOTEL Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: re: The orchestra will be placed down in front of the stage for THE SKELTON SHOW, as requested. They have advised that they plan to utilize a plain white backdrop while Red is on the stage. I am sending you, under separate cover, a 5-minute 16-mm. color film of the stage setup and grandstand, which was used during the Welk and Roy Rogers appearances at the fair last year. The same set will be used this year. They are willing to construct a traveler setup for the white backdrop for Red (which would be approximately 20 to 30 ft, from the front of the stage); however, they wanted us to know that usually the wind is blowing on the matinee per- formances (and sometimes in the evenings), and there will be no way to insure that the backdrop can be anchored in a way where the wind won?╟╓t affect it and prevent it from wavering during Red?╟╓s work. After viewing the film you will get a better idea of the physical setup and be able to make suggestions. With best wishes, Sincerely I^HAEL T. NORTH MTN/r
