In the stiff competition of Las Vegas, this in itself was almost a miracle, getting Frank Sinatra ?╟÷ Danny Thomas ?╟÷- Billy Eckstine ?╟÷ Vic Damone ?╟÷* Jimmy McHugh ?╟÷ Billy Gray, Fatty Moore and Ben Lossy, to each perform one night of the celebration. Danny Thomas was signed by Jack Entratter to open The Sands in December 1952 ?√ß*?╟≤**??*?? but also invited to attend were stars like Jimmy Durante, the Rita Brothers, Jane Powell, Ray Anthony, Frankie Lalne, Denise Darcel, Ursula Theiss, Terry Moore.
