Dear Sir:- We have finally succeeded, in settling with Mrs,Stewart for the bill you rendered some fe** days ago. cut out the labor for making the ditch, esnemnting to £.69.00, and allowed Stewart one month's salary ijj.50.Q0, which brought the big bill down to $492|f§|, Then by allowing hor for the sundry store supplies and wood and nails that were turned over to you, and deducting half the money she had received by the sale of potatoes, apples and saner-kraut-, made, the settlement, net, £475.72.
