The resort hotels and downtown hotels and clubs feature a variety of entertainment to suit the taste of the individual visitor. There is lounge entertainment from dusk to dawn. The hotels offer two shows nightly and some a third show. The dinner shows begin at 8:15 p.m. and the second shows at midnight. It is suggested you be at the dinner show by 7 p.m. and the midnight show no later than 11:30 p.m. Be sure and make reservations as far in advance as possible by calling the hotel and asking for dining room reservations. Whether you want a delectable steak or exotic foods from foreign lands the dozens of intimate restaurants are open for your pleasure until the wee hours of the morning. No reservations are necessary. If you want more active sports than lying in the sun by the hotel and motel pools, there is horseback riding at Twin Lakes Lodge, hiking through the pines on cool AAt. Charleston, golfing at any of the five beautiful 18-hole golf courses and boating and fishing at nearby Lake AAead. For these activities consult the information counter where you are staying. (ZciictGtiC $OWtA> There are daily tours to nearby Lake AAead where you may take a boat ride, and to Boulder (Hoover) Dam, the highest dam in the world, and to other attractions in the area. Las Vegas is also within easy driving distance of the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion National Parks, Death Valley and the Valley of Fire. TV fat ta TVea* Las Vegas has more than 83 churches of all denominations. Since many of the residents work at different hours around the clock, many of the churches have additional services. During nine months of the year Las Vegas has warm climate with low humidity during the day and night. During these months the residents usually wear light clothing. Sport shirts and slacks are recommended during the day with light suits at night. During the short winter season jackets are worn. Few residents of Las Vegas own overcoats, since snowflakes are not known. f*vM$&&%&&i%?Θ╝tl4> With such a variety of attractions Las Vegas is a cameraman's paradise, Whether it be pictures of Hoover Dam or famous Fremont Street at night?╟÷ a MUST for all photographers?╟÷you will find fun in photography. However, please do NOT take pictures inside the casinos or the theatre restaurants.
