I agree.Inter - Department Correspondence To: GEN. NIGRO Date. April 22, 1968 From: AF Subject: SPECIAL WEDDING PARTY - SATURDAY, JUNE 29, 1968 On Saturday, June 29, Mrs. Barbara Anderson of San Francisco would like to reserve the EmeraldRoom for the marriage of her daughter and a reception. | Following are the reasons for this note, and my recommendations and requests: 1. Mrs. Anderson is Assistant Administrator of the Kaiser Foundation Hospitals in San Francisco and has referred quite a few guests to the Sands through Tom Gerun of our San Francisco ottice and myself. ' ' 2. She was formerly Superintendent of Nurses at Sunrise Hospital and was very valuable in helping us with an emergency involving Mrs. Red Skelton two years ago - in fact, without her help I believe Mr. Skelton would have had to cancel the last half of a four week engagement, resulting in the loss of business as well as unfavorable publicity for the Skeltons and the Sands. 3. In Mrs. Anderson's plans for the affair, we can expect about 30 rooms for people from San Francisco including Mr. Edward Kaiser, of Kaiser Aluminum. There would also be guests coming from various parts of the country. 4. Tenative talks have been held between Mrs. Anderson and |S| Mario Marino which call for service for 100 people, bar drinks at $1.00 each and finger sandwiches. 5. In view of her cooperation with the Sands and her present record and position of referring new business to the Sands, I recommend that the Sands grant her the courtesy of cutting the drinks down to ,50<? each and "complimenting" the finger sandwiches. =?╟÷------i ?√ß -.-
