We sure need it.?╟╓ First, let me tell you that X have Just come out of a meeting with Bruce Downes and we have postponed the party from August 31st to September ll* so that both you people and we at this end will have more time to do the job, I have a feeling that this party story will make a damm good feature for all concerned. The idea is contagious. In fact, when X was buying the bundle of Confederate money for use at the party, the cashier asked jokingly what I was going to do with it all. I told her about the Las Vegas Party idea and the fellow behind me said, nDamed good idea, I think I'll do one too." The last I saw of him, he was heading for the Confederate money counter. Everyone here who I've mentioned the party to wants to be included and is terrifically enthus- iastic about the idea. (However, the people at the party will not know they are being photographed for the story until it's all over, so that we'll have candid, alive, pictures.) I'm enclosing a list of the items I hope the Sands might be able to supply us. I want to thank you very much for your cooperation. Sincerely,
