The Sands has paid Hughes Air West $28,080.00 with our check No. 017494, dated October 15, 1971. This check was sent to Air West, P. O. Box 26404, San Francisco, California. 2. In the letter from Air West to you they ask for another $939.00 or the return of the unused tickets in that amount, which as you explained to me on the phone today, you have already sent back to them. 3. Would you please contact them and explain that you have returned the unused tickets to cover the further amount that they are requesting. 4. The Sands has fulfilled its obligation of the contract between the City of Hope and the Sands, regarding the Sportsmen's Awards Dinner and I feel that it is encumbent upon you to clear up this matter of the unused tickets, inasmuch as you handled the matter.
