At the Paramount Theatre, | where, the film opened, Robert ^ Mitchum heads -the cast of this j exciting drama that should have a general rather than a specialized appeal. 1 x We follow the adventures of some U. When one of 5 these near-juveniles succumbs to | liquor to overcome his fear, Bob, j Mitchum yields to the lure of his 1 attractive wife and meets her sur-| reptitiously, even during the time 1 he is teaching her husband the I facts of flying. During one of | these flights the young man?╟╓s plane | is hit, forcing him to bail out in f enemy territory. But the wind-up is arranged for rehabilitated men and more peaceful romance. / , Mr. Mitchum gives a fopnotch performance as the fearless pro-fessionri ace, with May Britt coming through effectively as his romantic excursion. Lee Phillips as her weakling husband, Robert Wagner as a smug pilot, Richard Egan as the cominander and John Gabriel as an immature flyer all addt considerable strength to this fine production.
