Total traffic figures ?╟≤ 21,400,000 people hawing passed thru, stayed, or used any one facility - (pool, Terrace Room, Emerald Room, etc.). Averages 5,615 a day. Lightest traffic was 715 on a day it snowed at Raster in 1955. Heaviest traffic was 32,115 on a Tuesday during "Summit" show in January 1961, Hagnet for the traffic and business is the entertainment at the Sands, produced since it opened by Jack Entratter. As of 12/15/62, he will have presented 7,486 separate shows in the Cope Room, for total of 597,280 minutes of show. Also, in lounge, he has presented 36,510 hours of entertainment. Since opening, Entratter has spent $18,700,000 on entertainers9 salaries alone, signing 35,150 show salary cheeks, for 2652 diffSwent performers of all types.
