I agree.After opening-into 1850?╟╓s Good evening and welcome to the Tropicana Resort & Casino, and the the world famous ?╟ú Folies Bergere?╟Ñ. As incredible as it may seem, this year marks the Folies 50th anniversary here at the Tropicana. Which makes it the longest continually running in the U.S. except, of course, for Cher and Mickey Mouse. Now if you?╟╓re wondering why this (our) show has remained so popular, the answer is quite simple- beautiful women. The Folies Bergere has always featured in an abundance of beautiful women. (Music cue:) Styles & fashion may change, but the attraction of a beautiful _?·d woman is timeless. As in keeping with the French Music Hall tradition, we?╟╓re going to celebrate these fascinatio^creatures. Let?╟╓s begin in Paris in the 1860?╟╓s, which, incidentally, is when the Folies was bom. It was the height of the Romantic period when woman were elegant and flirtatious ?╟÷ objects to be adorned. 5/5/2008
