March 5, 1966 Mr, Victor M, Lina EPIC RECORDS 51 West 52nd Street New York, New York 10019 Deer Victors Please forgive the delay in acknowledging your letter of February 24.... I have been out of the city. I an happy to learn that all items outlined in ny letter are in agreement with our discussion, with the exception of items 1 and 2 as noted below?╟÷ \ 1. The aspect of public relations and the treatment to be afforded to the convention in general, and your artists in particular, has been discussed with Mr. Ai Freeman who, as you know, is our Director of Advertising and Public Relations. Al assures me that he will cooperate with you to the fullest extent to meet your requirements. As a matter of fact, I think he is going to write you separately. When you and Len are visiting the West Coast please letme know when you plan to spend sometime with us here at the SANDS, and both Mr* Freeman and 1 will be _ very happy to meet with you any time at your convenience. 2. With regard to the suite I showed you.?╜..apparently there is some misunderstanding, as it is not possible for me to commit this suite. However, be assured that Len will have one of our superior suites which will provide him with a spacious living room and bar. It is utterly impossible for me to coranit the particular suite you have in mind, as it is always booked well into the future by management. 1 look forward to hearing from you. Good wishes and warmest regards. Cordially, Joseph Carbone, Director of Sales JC/mg ccs Mr. Al Freeman
