I agree.PRES$ HOUSTON CLUB R ICE HOT EL HOUSTON, TEXAS 77002 February 29, 1968 Mr. A1 Freeman The Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: The Press Club of Houston?╟╓s 19th Annual Gridiron Dinner is scheduled for Monday, April 15, in the Regency Room of the Shamrock Hilton Hotel. Once again, we are soliciting your aid in the form of ads for the Gridiron newspaper. We are out to make this the best issue in the Press Club?╟╓s history, and hope we may count on your support. As you know, the paper not only is distributed to the 800 prominent citizens of Houston and Texas who attend the dinner, but also is sent each year to some 4,000 readers. In addition, special awards for outstanding ads are made during the dinner. Proceeds from the paper help support Journalism scholarships sponsored by the Club. Rates this year will be the same as in previous years: Full page $325; Half page $170; and one-quarter page, $90. Agency commission of 15 percent will be allowed on all advertising. Page size will be 10 1/4?╟Ñ wide x 14 1/4". One half page is 10 1/4" x 7 1/8", Quarter page is 5" x 7 1/8". Since off- set printing 'will be used, slick proofs and art work are preferred to engrav- ings and mats. Please contact the Press Club with space reservations as soon as possible.
