The occasion is the Jewish Federa-tion's "Big Gifts" event. / What makes this "special" is that the Federation will be honoring all its Past Presidents since it was first chartered in 1966. You will remember at that time it was still called the Combined Jewish Appeal. We want to make this really "special" - ten Presidents - two decades of service to Israel and the Las Vegas Jewish community. You were an integral part of that process, and your attendance that evening will attest to the continuity of our people through these years of growth and change. Invitations to the event (which will be held at the Spanish Trails Country Club) will be going out shortly, but I wanted to get this letter to you early so that you could plan to be with us that evening. It is an important milestone to the Jewish community here in our city. I hope you won't disappoint us.
