CAHHCHi First, X would like to make a brief statement of the faets to acquaint the Commission with the situation that has brought on what we contend is our lack of adequate water in the City of Las Vegas. during the season of 1949, the summer season, it became apparent that there was not a sufficient water supply for numerous of tbs residents throughout the City of Las Vegas, in addition to the number of business houses— and myself, as City Attorney, and the City Commissioners were advised that some business houses in town were unable to secure water on theli floors, above the ground floor, and that residents throughout the City of Las Vegas were unable to secure water for domestic use,
