I agree.488 Madison Avenue GENTLEMEN'S QUARTERLY the fashion magazine for men New York 22, N. Y. PLaza 9-3232 OFFICE OF THE PUBLISHER March 6, 1958 Mr. A1 Freeman Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: I know I am back in civilian life again because the other night Frances and I went to a night club and when the check came it was not stamped "complimentary?╟╓'. It is impossible for me to tell you, Al, how exciting our stay in Las Vegas was because of you. Frances is sending you a little something, which is but a small token of our appreci- ation. As I told you, Al, I am perfectly willing to repeat the Sands ; Hotel advertisement at my expense in a subsequent issue of A V GENTLEMEN'S QUARTERLY and in connection with it turn over to you an excellent list of names of logical people within the men's fashion-apparel world to whom a mailing can be directed, calling their attention to the advertisement in the issue selected. I am glad that you responded to this idea because I think it will be unique and effective and that it will add direct promotional mileage for your advertising. I am enclosing herewith our current rate card which indicates the publication schedule for the balance of this year so that you may time your advertising and mailing accordingly. I hope that I will hear from you soon about this and, more than that, that I will be seeing you again shortly. Cor ly yours, / / BJM:nm Enc.
