I agree.ROUTE OF THE EAGLE S September 11, 1961 Mr. A1 Freeman Publicity Director The Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Freeman: This is belated, and regrettably, but have finally found time to thank you for the botintiful courtesies you extended to me and my wife during our mid-August vacation trip to Las Vegas; our very first one, incidentally. Although we didn?╟╓t request -- nor expect -- your fine hospitality, we were overwhelmed over the manner in which you made our visit a truly memorable one. Enclosed you will find a copy of a regular news column I write for my home town newspaper, one which mentions Vegas and your hotel. Should you have occasion to come to Dallas--- or this sector of Texas --- please contact me. I?╟╓d like nothing better than an opportunity to do something real nice for you. In my job here with Texas and Pacific, I work closely and have some good friends with the Dallas and Fort Worth members of the working press. It may be that I can be helpful to you in this connection. Thank you most sincerely for the grand favor you did us, sir. With best wishes,
