No pipe having an inside diameter of less than 3/4” shall be installed as a service pipe by the Customer, and the Company will use no pipe of smaller size than this in its portion of the service. 1’he size of pipe used in all servibes shall be determines after a consultation with a representative of the Company. Not more than one service shall be installed for a house except that of buildings used for commercial purposes, more than one service may be installed to permit a separation of the charge for water between the building as a whole and individual portions thereof. When a prospective Customer desires the installation of a service, but does not wish to use water immediately upon the completion of the service, the full cost of the service from the main to the curb line shall be advanced by the Customer to the Company. After the Customer desires the water to be turned on, the full amount advanced will be refunded to the Customer. HOUSE PIPING. (a) All piping within the Customer’s building shall be installed by the Customer. (b) The Customer shall have in his piping a stop and waste cock at the point where the service pipe enters each building. This stop and wastercock is desirable in order to drain the house piping as a protection against freezing and also in order to shut off the water during repairs in the house piping. The Company strongly recommends a shut-off cock just inside the property line for the Customer’s protection. (°) The Customer shall at all times maintain in good repair all house piping, protecting it so far as possible against danger of freezing. APPLIANCES. (a) The Customer shall maintain all fixtures in good operating condition to prevent the waste of water through leaky fixtures and shall not permit water to flow continuously through any fixture. (b) The Customer, in sprinkling lawns or gardens, shall use a spray nozzle of some sort. M into the gutter, Water shall not be permitted to flow from street, or adjoining lot. any Customer’s premises either CREDITS AND PAYMENTS. (a) Before service is supplied to any Customer, the Customer shall establish his credit. The Customer’s credit will be considered established, if he (1) owns the premises in question, or (2) makes a cash ,d©posit equal to twice the amount of the monthly charges, or (3) has paid all his bills to the Company promptly during the latest 12 months of his previous service from the Company. (b) In case,'-'a cash deposit is necessary, it will be refunded to the Customer at the expiration of W months of satisfactory relations between the Customer and the Company. The Company pays the Customer 7% interest per annum, on all such deposits.
