November 3, 1970 Mr. Louis Sleet fte Sands Betel Lot Vegas, Nevada 99114 Saar Leu: As par our discussion in Las Vegas pertaining to the actual staging far oar fall presentation on February 23, the attached layout will giro you an indication as to what I feel will he required* Fro?½ this art randarlng, I'd appreeiata it if you eould possibly forward to ?½a approximate cost estimates as soon as possible* He bars scheduled our model selection for Friday, February 19, actual model fittings on Saturday, February 20, and the rehearsal to start at 8:90 a.m. os Monday, February 22. If last year's rehearsal was any indication of the time required, I definitely suggest that we plan to start at 9 $00 a.m. sharp* A segment of the program will probably run until 2:39 or 3:00 o'clock that afternoon. On Tuesday morning, the 23rd, the show will start precisely at 8:00 a.m. and should be oxer no Inter than 12:30. That afternoon and the follow- ing day will ba utilised for merchandising sessions with the final cock- tail party taking place on the evening of Wednesday, February 24. Lou, with the exception of the plastic balloon in center stage, I'd ap- preciate it if you'd give cost estimates on the Fome-Cer panels, the 3-level ramps, runway and the lighting for the A, B?? C platforms. This was basically designed in order to utilise precut 4x8 panels of ply- wood. The total audience penetration from the edge of stage to the end of the runway will run approximately 36 feet. Each platform should ba in the area of 8 feet in depth. The widths are 30 feet for Platform A and 20 feet for Platforms B and C. Starting fro?½ the runway and gradu- ating to the stage, please note that each platform rises approximately 8 inches above the other* In reference to the lighting, I feel that it will take approximately 58 75-watt frosted blue bulbs for Platform A, approximately 53 frosted pink bulbs for Platform B, approximately 64 frosted white bulbs for Platform C and approximately 75 frosted white bulbs for the runway* The bulbs are to ba set 3 inches from the edge of the platforms and noway with 2 bulbs set within e 1-foot span, I would appreciate knowing if our circuit breakers could be arranged as follows* #/> - ?√ßZ'
