I agree.HENRY AND ANITA SCHUSTER 3321 UribeSt Las Vegas, NV 89129 The Las Vegas (Clark County) School Board conducts a periodic symposium regarding the Holocaust. At this year's affair, 400 middle school students and approximately 50 teachers were in attendance. The program started at 2:00 PM with the arrival of school buses from the various schools to the Sands Expo. The students were greeted and participated in a social hour where pizzas, sandwiches, cookies and drinks were served. The students were assigned to different rooms to hear stories told by the Survivors. This year not only did the Survivors themselves speak but also the children of Survivors told about the effect it had on them regarding the experiences of their parents. This was the third year that I was asked to speak. As none of our children live in Las Vegas, Renee wrote a letter expressing her feelings. The letter was read by Anita prior to my talk. (Letter enclosed) After an hour all students, teachers and guests assembled into a large room for dinner and to hear the story of guest speaker, Gerda Klein. She is a prominent author and also Oscar winner for the documentary about her life. The big surprise was that Anita and I were asked to come to the podium. We were presented with the enclosed copy of a plaque mounted on a beautiful walnut backing. After a reading by a group of students, the Survivors sat at a table to sign autographs for the children. I really don't know why they would want our autographs, however we obliges. I signed 65 programs each with a short greeting and expressed my appreciation for their interest.
