I understand, from people here who are visiting Vegas, that you are enjoying unprecedented crowds this season. Johnny Mathis is apparently doing a fine job for The Sands. Everything in Dallas is still booming. Nightclub business has been exception ally good this summer. Time was, when we expected a slump when the heat arrived but it has failed to materialize this season. Regarding the Texas Copa Girl selections, we are ready whenever you say the word. I think Jack!s suggestion that we aim for a September date is a good one. However, it would be good to start the publicity ball rolling at least a month in advance. ChatTs about all for how Al# Drop a note when you get a moment and let me have a few items. Is Sinatra definitely out? Sure was looking forward to seeing him. Any possibility of a phone interview with him from The Sands sometime? Maybe we can use the Texas girls angle, and his prediction one of the Dallas kids will become a movie star, etc. Perhaps he couL d give one of them a bit part in his picture. Regardj^lo Jack, Nick Kelly, etc. Very sincerely, OLDEST BUSINESS INSTITUTION IN TEXAS v
