£•08 Angeles, May 14, 1963 174-2 - C- ^ >) __ Mr, Calvin It. Coryt cci Mr. W. B. Qroome Your letter of May 13#^1963# referring to Mr. Qroome1* letters to you of April 16/1963# and May 8# 1963, covering retirement of 70#000 gallon, steel water tank at Arden# MivadiF ~ We have located in the Land and Tax Department files an undated copy of LA&SLRRCo. Deed Audit Mo. 4033# which appears to be a Certificate of Appropriation of Water from Upper Cottonwood Springs, Nevada„ 1 am enclosing to you and to Mr. Groome a copy of this certificate. X suggest that Hr. Qroome have the Auditor conduct an investigation of his files as to Certificates of Water Appropriation in this area because there may be other such certificates. Also X presume it would be possible to obtain a record by searching the real property records in Clark County, Nevada, if we cannot develop the information from our own records. Perhaps you can determine how much it would cost to have this done so that Mr, Qroome can determine whether or not such an expenditure is Justified. Edward C. Renwlck ECRtmsb Enel,
