I agree.production that proved so successful, the two stars will , tour the country in the same type of show----"High Hat arid Low Down**--produced by Entratter. Another accomplishment never attempted before in nightclubs was the presentation byEntratter of a different star each night to celebrate the First Anniversary of The Sands, instead of a single star for the entire week. In the stiff competition of Las Vegas, this in itself was almost a miracle, getting Frank Sinatra ---- Danny Thomas-----Billy Eckstine-----Vic Damone-----Jimmy McHugh --- Billy Gray --- Patty Moore and Ben Lessy, to each perform one night of the, celebration. Danny Thomas was signed by Jack Entratter to open The Sands in December 1952 ---- but also invited to.attend were stars like Jimmy Durante, the Ritz Brothers, Jane Powell Ray Anthony, Frankie Laine, Denise Darcel, Ursula Theiss, Terry Moore.
