B/W Lincoln County, Nevada: Los Angeles, April 7, 1908. Pile #26 Mr. L, 0. Hill, #852 Austin Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Lear Sir,- Herewith enclosed is a deed of conveyance from you to the Las Yegas & Tonopah Bailroad Company of a strip of land 100 feet wide across the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 21, Township 19 South, Bange 60 East, M.L.B.& M., Lincoln County, Levada, for right of way for railroad purposes, iwhich I will ask you to execute before a Lotary Public or Clerk of some Court of record and mail to the Citizens Lational Bank of this City with instructions to deliver the same upon payment to said bank for you of the sum of $25.00 which is the amount being paid by us for right of way in this locality and which I trust will be satisfactory. You probably realize that the construction of this railroad across your land adds greatly to its value and in fact gives a value to this land that it otherwise would not have. If you are not willing to execute this deed, please return same to me stating your reasons therefor, as condemnation proceedings will be necessary. A map showing right of way desired is enclosed with the deed. Yours very truly, (Signed) C.O.Whittemore—L
