    HOLLYDALE TRACT NO. 3 At the time of the acceptance of the final plat of Hollydale Release of Certified Tract No. 3, the subdivider submitted a cashier's check in the Check amount of $13,341.00. The subdivider has subsequently submitted a bond in the amount of $13,500.00 to cover the offsite improvements under Hollydale Tract No. 3 construction. It is recommended that the cashier's check be released in favor of the bond. Commissioner Sharp moved that the cashier's check in the amount of $13,341.00 to cover offsite improvements under Hollydale Tract No. 3 construction be released in favor of a bond in the amount of $13,500.00. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners, Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. BID NO. 58.25 The two bids received indicated a misinterpretation in the computation Hadland Park of one of the bids. Upon further check with the bidders, it was Sprinkler System found the Addendum was misread by one bidder. As there were only two bids, one of which was in error, it is recommended that all bids Rejection of Bids be rejected. Commissioner Fountain moved that all bids for the Hadland Park Sprinkler System, Bid No. 58.25, be rejected. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. BID NO. 58.25 The Commission considered Bid No. 58.25, Hadland Park Sprinkler Hadland Park System, which was received from the Automatic Irrigation Co., 925 Sprinkler System West Hyde Park Blvd., Inglewood, California, on December 8,1958. This was 5 days after the scheduled bid opening which was set for Bid Rejected. 8:00 P.M. on December 3, 1958. Commissioner Fountain moved that Bid No. 58.25, Hadland Park Sprinkler System, received 5 days late from the Automatic Irrigation Co., 925 West Hyde Park Blvd., Inglewood, California, be rejected. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. TRICKLING FILTER The Commission considered the recommendation of the Engineering ADDITION Department that the final payment of $13,397.08 for work under the Sewage Treatment Plant present Trickling Filter Addition, Contract No. 311H.6, Bid 58.02, Bid No. 58.02 be withheld until all deficiencies in the plant under the original contract are corrected. Director of Public Works Sauer stated this Final Payment Withheld work should be completed by next meeting of the Board of City Commissioners. Commissioner Bunker moved that final payment of $13,397.08 for work under the present Trickling Filter Addition, Contract No. 311H.6, Bid 58.02, be withheld until all deficiencies in the plant under the original contract are corrected. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple, and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. FREMONT SCHOOL SANITARY All work has been completed to the satisfaction of the Engineering SEWER Department and it is recommended that the work be accepted, the Bid No. 58.22-Release of United Pacific Insurance Company Performance Bond in the amount Bond and Final Payment of $5,815.00 be released and the final payment in the amount of $628.28 be made to the George E. Miller Co., 2660 North Main St., North Las Vegas. Commissioner Whipple moved that the Fremont School Sanitary Sewer, Bid No. 58.22 be accepted; that the United Pacific Insurance Company Performance Bond in the amount of $5,815.00 be released and final payment in the amount of $628.28 to George E. Miller Co., 2660 No. Main St., North Las Vegas, be approved and the Director of Finance and City Treasurer authorized to issue the warrant. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GREATER LAS VEGAS The Commission considered the acceptance of the final plat for TRACT NO. 3- UNIT NO. 1 Greater Las Vegas Tract No. 3. Unit No. 1.The final plat has been checked Acceptance of Final Plat and the bond has been submitted in the amount of $216,303.56. All the street designs and utilities have been checked by the Engineering Department and it is recommended that the final plat Approved be accepted. Commissioner Sharp moved that the final plat for Greater Las Vegas Tract No. 3 Unit No. 1 be approved. t Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. 12-17-58
