 Dear Mr. Cobain, 9/22/05

Thank you so much for attending the campaign dinner last week with your mother, Ruth! it was such a pleasure meeting her and spending time with you both. I know that Dr.Mills thoroughly enjoyed speaking with you, as well as President Harter.

I am sorry you missed the introduction of [not legible] first senior class Pres. + graduate by Dr. Harter; I did not know she was going to do that! Your mother would have loved it!

Anyway, I look forward to getting the Orange County group together for lunch soon. Also, I would love to brainstorm more with you about ways to engage our wonderful alums more on campus, with advocacy [not legible] with our students!

Again, thank you, Mr. Cobain for making it out for such a wonderful event - we were so appreciative to have you two!
