Here, I'll tell you a story. You want a story? Yes, I do. My buddy from the Stardust called me and he said, "I need a bag of chocolate chip cookies." I said, "Okay." So I made him a bag of chocolate chip cookies. He said, "And bring them to the Stardust for me." So I brought them to the Stardust for him. He gives them to another guy in the bag and the guy leaves. The guy got arrested leaving the hotel with a bag of cookies. They thought it was skim money. Chocolate chip cookies made at Piero's. That's funny. They knew it; they knew they were going to get busted. That's why he made the chocolate chip cookies. What about there were a couple of people arrested in the restaurant? Yes, those guys that were...They were Mafia cops. From New York? They were arrested in the restaurant. They were actually sergeants in the New York Police Department. They came in here at five thirty for dinner and they arrested them. They had guns drawn in the back and the front and all of that. "60 Minutes" interviewed me. I said, "The reason I got mad is because, first of all, when they left they didn't leave a tip for the valet. And then we got food to go. They could have taken their food to go." So I made a big fun story out of it. Yes, they're still in jail. Pat knows their names. What about wasn't there a big fight between Binion and? Stupak. Here at the restaurant? It wasn't a big fight. Benny Binion's friend who wears the patch, an old man, he took a poke at Bob Stupak in the restaurant. That's all. It makes the business. So do those little stories get covered in the newspaper and that brings more attention to your restaurant? Yes. There's a lot of stuff on the restaurant. What's the most recent kind of notoriety that's happened here? Well, let me just back into the Jewish world a little bit. He has the luncheon for March of the Living here at Piero's every December, which is a fundraiser for Temple Beth Sholom's scholarship fund to send kids to?do you know what March of the Living is? No. Talk about that. Well, March of the Living is a tour that's done where you take people and mostly younger people to Poland through Auschwitz and Dachau. Oh, sure, okay. And then from there to Israel. So they understand the journey of how that led and why Israel is so important to survive and thrive. And so he does that. He continues to be a member of Beth Sholom. So in the years where he wasn't paying anything, he does pay dues now. So he continues that and he's honored every year. Then I have my turkey thing. I was getting to that. Then every Thanksgiving he feeds, how many, six hundred? Twelve hundred. Twelve hundred boys and girls from the Boys and Girls Clubs. No. Just from all the needy kids in school, from all the school districts. And they come through here. All the celebrities come that morning and he feeds them breakfast. And I mean the local notoriety socialites come in the morning and he gives everybody breakfast. Then those people serve the kids as they come through. That's cool. And I raise money, too. So far this year I've raised...Well, last year we raised about twenty eight thousand that we give to the local charities for the kids. This year so far, called Turkey Gobble, I raised seventeen thousand. That's wonderful. More now. Last year we raised thirty three thousand. So it will probable reach that this year. That's great. What's the most you've ever raised? I don't know. We've raised about a half a million so far in twenty years.
