I agree.JESSE H. JONES Publisher JOHN T. JONES.Jr. President THE ; CHRONICLE ^asn/Zy sVeiOSfxyieA July 1, 1957 Mr. A1 Freeman, Publicity Director, The Sands Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: Lorene and I can never tell you how much we enjoyed the stay in Las Vegas and the Sands Hotel, made possible through your most generous and genuine hospitality, Al, it truly was the most enjoyable vacation we have ever had and we know that we owe all our thanks to you for making it so. It seems rather trite, in view of the fabulous abrangemehts you made for us while in Las Vegas, but if ever we can do anything down this way for you, please don?╟╓t hesitate to call on us. And if you are ever in this area, please let me know and we'll make a few of the rounds, though you will find them much less glittering than in Las Vegas. Our return trip was smooth as silk and we arrived here in fine shape, except for a few stars in our eyes as we recalled the wonderful time we had durind our Sands visit. Lorene is still a little peeved at herself for not accepting your very kind invitation to stay over a couple more days. There was a good story here the other day on Jack Entratter's plan to televise shows from the Sands to night spots over the country en a pay-as-you-go basis. I left the clipping at home, but will send it along with the tear sheet on the chorus girl story, I mentioned while out there, when I return to the mill next Monday, Give my best regards to Jakie, whom I hope is getting along better now, and to Jack Entratter. I am writing them today also. Again, Al, our most sincere thanks for a wonderful time. I still don't know how you do it - take so much time away from your own work to help us. The show arrangements were excellent and we certainly appreciate your taking the time and Interest in making our arrangements so complete. The best of everything to you, Al, and I hope we will be seeing you again soon
