BOB MCKAY - PUBLIC RELATIONS 1545 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles, California 90017 HU 3-1600 LOS ANGELES ?╟÷ Trans World Airlines will soon be capable of carrying every athlete of every professional sports in the State of California..on one aircraft! Speaking of going big league, TWA will be the first with the most. The Boeing 747 jetliner will be introduced on TWA?╟╓s domestic routes sometime in early 1970 which will make it the first airline out on the track with a Jumbo Jet. This aircraft is capable of carrying 490 passengers which means there would be room for most of the- coaching staffs, trainers and equipment and managers as well. Since all the home teams won't be on the road concurrently, the airline has decided to carry only 366 passengers per flight for openers. Actually there'll be three floors. No more hanging around the galley to chat with the hostesses, they'll be in the galley below decks. There'll be a spiral staircase to the third floor lounge. Speaking of TWA?╟╓s hostess corps, present plans call for there to be 16 lovelies aboard each of these aircraft. This is just about the number of girls graduated in TWA's first hostess class more than 30 years ago. It would take some kind of kicker to punt this aircraft's wing span ?╟÷ 65 yards and eight inches. On a football field, from nose section to tail assembly, the 747 will stretch from your goal line to your opponents 23 yard line. You'd have no trouble seeing the plane from outside the Coliseum. The top of the aircraft rudder towers ?╟÷ more ?╟÷ Q-Ji
