I agree.34 ELVIRA (CONT.) All right! All right! I'll throw on something skimpy and head down to the dungeon. DISSOLVE TO: INT. HALLWAY - NIGHT Elvira, wearing a filmy negligee, steps out into the hallway with a candle. THUNDER AND LIGHTNING. CUT TO: INT. LIVING ROOM Elvira hears the GRINDING NOISE louder now. It seems to be coming from inside the walls. She feels her way along the wall near the fireplace, occasionally pressing her ear to it. Suddenly, when she presses on the portion of the wall closest to the fireplace, it opens up and she falls through. INT. SECRET PASSAGEWAY Elvira stands, dusts herself off, and tiptoes down the dark corridor. At the end of it, she sees a heavy door plastered with several signs - "KEEP OUT","NO TRESSPASSING" "NO ENTRAR" "THIS MEANS YOU!" The GRINDING SOUND GETS LOUDER AND LOUDER as she .approaches, then STOPS. She reaches for the doorknob. Before she can grab it, she hears the SOUND OF FOOTSTEPS approaching. Elvira ducks into a convenient doorway. The knob turns and the door CREAKS open. Vladimere steps through the door, closes it behind him, and locks it with a large, ornate key. He pockets the key and walks past Elvira, disappearing through the secret door. Elvira steps out of the shadows and follows him. WIPE TO: LIVING ROOM
