While it seems that possibly more citations should have been Issued, I am of the opinion that the assignment of these officers has had a very beneficial effect and has resulted in the substantial reduction in the amount of water waited as well as the saving of a very substantial amount of water due to the enforcement of the alternate day restrictions. I have Just been informed by the City Manager’s Office that one of the persons cited for violation of water restrictions appeared In court, pleaded guilty, and w&s fined |5*00« One other person cited pleaded nots-guilty and will be tried at a later date. The third person cited failed to report and will be brought into court at a later date. I will be glad to have your comments. Attachments L. R. Maag LRM:ejp
