ransportation Committee - 2 - Each car is numbered in several locations--the key ririg, the left side of the instrument panel, the license plate, arid the official World Congress windshield sticker. When these cars are serviced or washed, a triplicate invoice will be filled out by the service station, showing the car's number on the invoice, and the driver of the car is to sigh the invoice. The VIP MOTOR POOL office will be located in the Coat Room in the north end of the Convention Center. Telephones and additional facilities will be installed by the Managing Director for use by the VIP MOTOR POOL, A mobile trailer will he placed at the base of the control tower at McCarran Field for use by the VIP MOTOR POOL* the Information Desk in the lobby of the Administrative Building at McCarran Field is to have a representative of the TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE on duty. Both of these auxiliary locations will have telephones for contacting the main MOTOR POOL office. All aircraft carrying VIPs will land at McCarran Field, including the military, and will park near the control tower to discharge the passengers. Some VIPs will arrive at McCarran Field by commercial airlinesr-these VIPs will check with the Information Desk in the Administrative Building for transportation to their hotel. The VIP MOTOR POOL will be in operation from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily, beginning Saturday, April 11, through Sunday, April 19. Arrangements will be made to have on dispatcher and at least two drivers on duty after 8:00 p.m. daily to handle emergency arrivals. This after-hours-operation will be located in one of the nearby hotels. The TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE will be provided with a list of persons who are entitled to make use of the VIP MOTOR POOL, with complete arrival and departure information on these persons. No other persons are entitled to use these facilities, except by special permission of the Managing Director. All persons eligible to use the VIP MOTOR POOL will be wearing a PINK World Congress DELEGATE badge--all other World Congress delegate badges are white. No car is to wait more than thirty minutes at an arrival point or for a return trip made by a VIP. Under no circumstances is any driver to violate any traffic laws. Drivers are cautioned to ignore requests of passengers to exceed speed limits. Arrangements will be made by the Managing Director to issue drivers meal tickets which can be used in the temporary restaurant being set-up in the Convention Center. It is requested that drivers schedule their meal periods so that they can eat at the Convention Center. Several mass movements of persons registered for the World Congress will be made during the World Congress. The first of these is Monday, April 13, when everyone is to be transported from the Convention Center to McCarran Field, starting at 1:30 p.m. The same group is to be returned to the various hotels beginning at 5:00 p.m. On Wednesday, April 15, all registrants for the World Congress are to be transported to the Indian Springs Gunnery Range beginning at 7:00 a.m. and returned to the various hotels beginning at 1:00 p.m.
