I agree.JIMMY McHUGH August 8, 1967 f Dear Al, Sorry I wasn't able to write to you sooner. I know the taking over of the Sands by H. H. probably wasn't too much of a surprise to you, but we on the outside, naturally, felt it. All I can say is that if you and Jack still have the freedom that you always had, the Sands will remain the number one spot. Too me, person- ally, you and Jack are the main headliners over there. I notice that the weather has been rather warm in Vegas and I do hope that you are holding up under it. While writing I might mention that I was out to see Louella on Saturday and the poor thing is just wither- ing away. I firmly believe that the toughest part of life is when one grows old and there is nothing to be done, only sit and wait. It really is a sad sad ending. Soon I will surprise you with a visit. I will be happy to see all of the remodeling and building that you have done, as I always felt the Sands was just like a second home to me and it holds such beautiful memories.
