Such beduty as Donn Arden has incorporated into this $250,- 000 revue is rare indeed. This production is, by far, the most glittering and entertaining to date. | * A score of film celebrities, too many to list, turned out for the show; Bob Hope and Jimmy Durante and Danny Thomas were introduced from the stage, but time presented introductions of others, ?√ß Needless to say, Serines has another smash hit. Arden has out-done himself this time. As Sennes noted in his speech from the stage,, the cast was in constant rehearsal ?╟úuntil 10 minutes to 7 this evening,?╟Ñ f * r Highlights of the ftwo nightly shows are a comedy act. embracing trained monkeys, a Continental juggling group that won a tremendous hand, the Peters Sisters and the Andrea Sisters, who offer everything from vocal routines to intricate dances, a score of production numbers involving stairways and the revolving stage/ and production numbers that embrace everything that a topflight supper-club show could present, with no expense spared. 1 The show is replete with beautiful girls, gorgeously gowned, and the props, the sets, and the lighting combine? to create a dazzling picture indeed. The stage is continually filled with color and movement. Opening night performance had the smoothness usually ^achieved after a few weeks run. Several highly talehted specialty performers have been imported from the continent* To kick off the show there are the Peters ^Sisters, Santa Monica girls rbiqrmng after eight years in France, including three for the Folies Bergere. Bdtshce' Two novelty/ turns provide nice balance. AA The Marquis Family, one man and; four monks . amuse with their antics, ,and the Peiro Brothers amaze with their?╟ juggling deftness. For acrobatic dancing the show has The Andrea Dancers, a smooth trio. g And for sensationalism the revue has a numbier where a?╟╓small fishing boat is seemingly caught in a storm and is lost. This is staged effectively, with Ffolliott Charlton as the girl and Harvey Coffman as the boy. Should you see ' ?╟úParis Tou jours?╟Ñ? The answer is oui oui but definitely.
